This Privacy Policy describes how Tekve Oy (“Tekve”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects and processes personal data in connection with the Gover website, platform and related services (together, the “Services”).

2. Whose data we process

We may process personal data of the following categories of data subjects:

  • Visitors to the Gover website
  • Representatives and employees of our customers and prospects
  • Users of the Gover platform
  • Newsletter subscribers and event participants
  • Job applicants
  • Other individuals who contact us or whose data we need to process in the course of our business (e.g. vendor contacts)

3. What personal data we collect

3.1. Data you provide to us

  • Identification and contact details: name, job title, company, email address, phone number, postal address
  • Account information: username, password (stored in hashed form), authentication details
  • Communication content: messages you send via contact forms, email, chat or support channels
  • Contract and billing data: customer organisation details, billing contact, invoicing information, payment status
  • Recruitment data: CV, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, interview notes and other information voluntarily provided in recruitment

3.3. Data from third parties

  • Our customers (e.g. when they create user accounts for their employees or upload contact information into Gover)

When customers upload or enter personal data into the Gover platform, they act as the data controller and Tekve acts as their data processor with respect to such data. In these cases, the customer’s own privacy notice applies in addition to this one.

4. Purposes and legal bases for processing

We process personal data only when there is a legal basis under GDPR. The main purposes and legal grounds are:

4.1. Providing and improving the Services

  • Creating and managing user accounts
  • Delivering the Gover platform and customer support
  • Configuring and operating integrations
  • Ensuring the security, availability and performance of the Services
  • Developing and improving our Services and user experience

Legal Basis: Performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); Our legitimate interest in providing secure and functional Services and developing them (Art. 6(1)(f)).

4.2. Sales, marketing and communication

  • Responding to contact requests and demo bookings
  • Sending product updates, newsletters and event invitations (where permitted)
  • Targeted advertising and measuring the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Managing our CRM and sales pipeline

5. How we share personal data

We may share personal data with:

  • Service providers (processors) who help us provide the Services, e.g. Hosting and infrastructure providers, Email and communication tools, CRM, billing and accounting systems, Analytics and monitoring tools.
  • Customers (for platform user data linked to their organisation).
  • Professional advisers such as accountants and legal counsel.
  • Authorities where required by law or to protect our rights.

We ensure appropriate contractual safeguards with our processors, including data processing agreements as required by GDPR.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers may be located outside the EU/EEA. In such cases, we only transfer personal data where an adequate level of protection is ensured, for example by:

  • Adequacy decision by the European Commission, or
  • Standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, together with necessary supplementary safeguards.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies on the Gover website and platform to enable essential functionality (e.g. session management, security), remember your preferences, analyse website usage, and support marketing. You can block or delete cookies via your browser settings, though some features may not function correctly.

8. Data Security

We process personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures aimed at ensuring a level of security appropriate to the risk, including role-based access control, encryption in transit and rest, and logging/monitoring.

9. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or to comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax and accounting limitation periods). When personal data is no longer needed, it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
